Cubism Episode #19: Green Day

Hey everyone we're back for episode 19, and this week its all about green.
One of the more fair colours in cube, and we break it down through archetypes and its more powerful cards.

We go through all of the archetypes in green from ramp, to mid range and aggro along with the more niche strategies like pod and natural order and tooth and nail.

Discussion of what the other colours add to cube is next, and what archetype those combinations create.

Finally we're talking about some more niche cards that we play such as Pellaka Wurm and why we don't play some of the other cards that most lists play. Cough Fyndhorn Elves Cough.

So thanks again guys and make sure you check us out on Facebook and Twitter and make sure to comment!

Cubism Episode #16: Who'll Be the Next in Line

Hello everyone and welcome back to our little corner of the multiverse. Episode #16 coming at you with help from Fusion gaming and this week we are joined by our good friend and cube community member Drew.

And this week we relieve memories of cads gone by, good and bad, as we discuss the topic of the "On Deck" Binder. Apparently most cube builders have one. It serves as a place for pet cards and recent cube cuts to lay dormant waiting for their owner to try out a stax package, or to put storm back in. And the three of us take a look at Drew's said binder.

His might be one of the nicest with many alters and foreign foils to feast your eyes on. Pictures are at the bottom. This is more of a trip down memory lane for us and possibly you at home as we discuss cube relics of a lost time, and sacred cows that maybe some people can't admit to being actually bad.

So kick back and relax with us, as we delve into Magic's toy box and remember the good old days.

So Thanks again for listening all our information is below so check that out, and check out Fusion Gaming there info is also below, for all of your Magic needs! Thanks again and Cya next time!

Cubism Episode #15: Black Betty

Hey Guys we're back with episode 15 of Cubism sponsored by Fusion Gaming, and this week we're looking at what many call the worst colour in cube, Black. In terms of raw power black has some of the best cards in cube, reanimate, necropotence, thoughtseize, liliana, but in the overall scope of things black is a little shallow and we bring that to the forefront discussing that ad nauseum.

-Black Overview
-Black Archetypes
-What other Colours Do To Compliment Black
-Black Cards We Play That Others Don't
-Black Cards We Don't Play That Others Do

We go over the main points of black and what it does to the cube and what its iconic cards are as well as why we believe black to be the worst colour in cube.

Then its on to the black specific archetypes that wouldn't exist without black, from mono black control to mid-range and aggro black certainly "tries" to do it all.

Then we glance over what each other colour does to compliment black and what decks they form together as a guild.

Then it's on to cards we play that most lists don't and vice versa.

So Thanks again for listening guys check us out at our links below and we have recently partnered with Fusion gaming Online Winnipeg's Premier Magic: The Gathering Store so check them out at the link below.
